What OpSemble gives you

Document control

Numbered, versioned documents with a draft-review-approve workflow and read acknowledgements. Authors can never approve their own work.

NCRs and CAPAs

Raise non-conformances, investigate and disposition them, and link each to a corrective action with an owner, due date and effectiveness review.

Audit programme

Clause-by-clause ISO 9001, supplier and process audits, scheduled and run on a phone with photos and signatures. A failed question raises an NCR.

Risks, calibration and suppliers

The clause 6.1 risk register with a heat map, calibration cadences that quarantine a failed instrument, and an approved supplier register.

ISO 9001 register

Every clause of ISO 9001:2015, including Amendment 1 (2024), with a readiness percentage, priority gaps and evidence from your own records.

Audit-day exports

Every register as a spreadsheet, and any controlled document as a PDF with its control block and an “uncontrolled when printed” footer.

Is Ideagen the wrong tool, or just the wrong size?

If you’re in a regulated industry, with auditors who expect validated software, regulatory change tracking and offline capture across remote sites, Ideagen is built for you and OpSemble isn’t. The case for OpSemble is the manufacturer or service business with ISO 9001 on the wall and a quality function of one or two people.

Most small UK firms meet ISO 9001 the expensive way: a consultant writes the manual, the certificate goes on the wall, and the system lives in a folder nobody opens between audits. Enterprise quality platforms fix that, at a price and rollout sized for businesses with a quality department.

OpSemble Quality is priced for the other end. Five Quality seats are £64 a month before VAT, £768 a year, with document control, NCRs, CAPAs, audits, calibration, suppliers and a clause-by-clause ISO 9001 register. There’s no implementation fee, and the trial is the product itself for 14 days.

The records link to each other the way an auditor expects. A failed audit question raises an NCR; an NCR can’t close without its corrective action; a failed calibration quarantines the instrument and raises an NCR against it. When the certification body visits, each clause already carries its evidence. Manufacturers should also read our NCR and CAPA and document control pages.

Frequently asked questions

Is OpSemble suitable for aerospace, medical devices or pharma?

Probably not as your primary quality system. OpSemble Quality is built around ISO 9001:2015. If your sector requires validated software or specific regulatory frameworks, a specialist such as Ideagen is the better fit.

Does OpSemble work offline?

OpSemble is a web app that installs to the home screen. It needs a connection to sync records, so if your sites have no signal at all, a tool with offline capture may suit the audit itself better.

Who needs a Quality seat?

Your quality team and the people who approve documents. Seats are per module, so the rest of the business only needs seats for the modules they use.

What does it cost?

£29/month platform fee plus £7 per Quality user. Five users is £64 a month before VAT. 14-day free trial, no card required.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Subscriptions run monthly and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Early customers lock in their rate.
