What OpSemble gives you

Document control

Numbered, versioned documents with a draft-review-approve workflow and read acknowledgements. Authors can never approve their own work.

NCRs and CAPAs

Raise non-conformances, investigate and disposition them, and link each to a corrective action with an owner, due date and effectiveness review.

Audits and calibration

Clause-by-clause ISO 9001, supplier and process audits run on a phone; a failed question raises an NCR. A failed calibration quarantines the instrument.

ISO 9001 register

Every clause of ISO 9001:2015, including Amendment 1 (2024), with a readiness percentage and evidence linked from your own records.

Health and safety

Incidents with RIDDOR deadlines, RAMS, COSHH, permits, contractors and ISO 45001 and 14001 registers.

HR and training

UK payroll, training records and a training matrix that fills itself in, sharing the same people as quality and safety.

Should you leave Mango?

Mango’s unlimited-users model is genuinely good value if lots of people need to log in, and it covers more standards than OpSemble, including ISO 27001 and ISO 13485. If you’re certified to either, or you want one price regardless of headcount, Mango is worth the demo. OpSemble suits the business that wants to see the price first and pay for the people who use each module.

Most people looking for a Mango alternative aren’t unhappy with the idea: one system for quality, health and safety is the right one. What they want is to know the price before the demo, and to pay for the people who actually run the system rather than for a licence sized to the whole organisation.

OpSemble publishes its prices. A five-person quality team with Health & Safety for 25 people is £289 a month before VAT: £29 for the platform, £35 for Quality and £225 for Health & Safety.

The records link to each other the way an auditor expects. A failed audit question raises an NCR; an NCR can’t close without its corrective action; a failed calibration quarantines the instrument and raises an NCR against it; and the ISO 9001 register and ISO 45001 register draw their evidence from all of it.

Frequently asked questions

Does OpSemble cover ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 together?

Yes. Quality runs document control, NCRs, CAPAs, audits and a clause-by-clause ISO 9001 register; Health & Safety runs incidents, risk, permits and an ISO 45001 register. They share the same people, sites and audit log.

Is Mango cheaper for a large team?

It may be. Mango’s subscription covers unlimited users, so if many people need to log in, a single organisation-wide price can work out cheaper than per-user seats. Get Mango’s quote and compare it with your OpSemble plan.

Who needs a Quality seat?

Your quality team and the people who approve documents. Seats are per module, so the rest of the business only needs seats for the modules they use.

Does OpSemble support ISO 27001 or ISO 13485?

Not with dedicated registers. OpSemble’s registers cover ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Subscriptions run monthly and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Early customers lock in their rate.
